ALEXANDRA PAUCESCU was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania. Former SOROS Foundation exchange student in the USA, she studied management and has a Master degree in business. She worked in sales and marketing. She speaks Romanian, English, French, German and Italian. She also completed studies in Cultural Diplomacy and International Relations. She has a special interest in intercultural communication. Married to a career diplomat, she embarked on a life long journey as a trailing diplomatic spouse. Inspired by this life twist, she wrote a book, ‘Just a diplomatic spouse’ (2020), in which she shares the experiences and lessons learned throughout the years. She is a journalist contributor to different magazines and websites. She is an active NGO volunteer and has worked with United Nations Women’s Guild Vienna and UNICEF Berlin.
